Crazy K9's Dog Training

Crazy K9's Dog Training strives to strengthen the bond between you and your dog through interactive play and training. We utilize basic training theories and positive training methods to help you achieve optimum results with your dog. We know that each dog is different and take an outside of the box approach to finding what works for each individual dog and handler. Communication between the dog and handler is critical in a successful working relationship and this is always at the forefront of our training approach.

Ursula Kinley is the head trainer of Crazy K9's Dog Training. Her experience in training dogs goes back over 14 years. She got more serious about training overall once she and her first border collie took the jump into the world of dog sports. There she found a new understanding of the bond between human and canine.

Ursula's skills and knowledge include a clear understanding of Operant and Classical Conditioning, Clicker Training, Canine Conditioning and Canine Behavior. She has experience in dog sports such as Flyball, Dock Jumping, Frisbee and Pet Dog Agility. She stays current and continues her education in training, conditioning and behavior through study and seminars put on by the top trainers and behaviorists in the industry.

Ursula is an example of her own work. She and her dog's compete at the top levels in their sports. She strives to bring as much drive and passion out of her dogs as she feels for the sports they enjoy together. Ursula's dogs have titles in the sport of dock jumping such as Top of Breed for 2008 and 2009, Top Dog Overall, Extreme Champion and World Record Holders. In flyball her dogs accelerate on the course and have achieved titles such as TFE-III and FMCHs (close to their Onyx titles). She is quite proud of the achievements and looks forward to adding more to their repetoire.
